Day 1: Madrid
Welcome to Madrid, Spain’s vibrant capital known for its rich history, iconic landmarks like the Royal Palace, and world-class museums such as the Prado. This lively city combines stunning architecture with a warm, bustling atmosphere.
Upon arrival at Madrid–Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (MAD), you'll be greeted by a Jaya tour manager who will escort you to your hotel and assist with check-in. Take some leisure time to relax or explore the surroundings. In the evening, proceed to a delectable dinner.
Day 2: Madrid
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before joining a guided tour of Madrid. You’ll explore historic and cultural highlights, including a visit to the renowned Bullring, one of Spain’s most exciting events and an iconic symbol of Spanish tradition.
Later, you'll visit a traditional sword factory to learn about the craftsmanship behind Spain’s world-famous blades. Following this, enjoy a guided tour of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for medieval architecture, diverse cultural heritage, and stunning landscapes.
In the evening, return to Madrid and unwind at your hotel before dinner.
Day 3: Madrid — Salamanca — Porto
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Depart for Salamanca, a historic city celebrated for its golden sandstone buildings and vibrant university life.
Upon arrival, meet your English-speaking guide and enjoy a guided tour of Salamanca’s key landmarks. Highlights include the magnificent Plaza Mayor, one of the most beautiful squares in Spain, and the University of Salamanca, established in 1218 and renowned as one of Europe’s oldest educational institutions. Marvel at the intricate carvings on the university facade and the Casa de las Conchas, adorned with shell motifs symbolizing the Order of Santiago.
After exploring Salamanca, continue your journey to Porto, Portugal. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax before dinner.
Day 4: Porto — Lisbon
Begin the morning with breakfast before checking out of your hotel. Proceed to Porto, a beautiful coastal city known for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture. After seeing the iconic Douro River views, historic architecture, and heart of Portugal’s famous Port wine production, you’ll see why the city is so famous.
Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour where you’ll explore significant landmarks, including the Dom Luís I Bridge, which offers panoramic views of the river, the Ribeira district with its colorful streets, and the renowned Port wine cellars. Along the way, your guide will share enchanting insights into the local history, culture, and traditions.
After completing the tour, begin a scenic drive towards Lisbon where you’ll relax and enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Portugal along the way. Upon arrival, stop to take a photo at Belém Tower, officially called the Tower of Saint Vincent. It’s a 16th-century fortification that served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for explorers and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon. This tower symbolizes Portugal's maritime and colonial power in early modern Europe. Here, it’s essential to enjoy the Famous Portuguese custard tarts called Pastel de Nata.
Later, proceed to the hotel and check-in before enjoying a delectable dinner.
Day 5: Lisbon
Begin your day with breakfast before joining today’s adventure: A guided tour of Lisbon. On this journey, you'll explore the charming streets of the Alfama district, with its winding alleys and stunning river views. Next, step inside the iconic Belém Tower, a historic monument standing proudly by the water, and marvel at the grand Jerónimos Monastery, a masterpiece of Portuguese architecture.
Continue your journey to Sintra, a picturesque town tucked in the hills, where the Pena Palace awaits. This colorful, fairy-tale castle will captivate you with its magical design and panoramic views of the surrounding forests.
Next, head to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where you’ll stand on the edge of the continent, gazing out at the vast Atlantic Ocean stretching endlessly before you.
End your day back at your hotel, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind before the evening is yours to explore at leisure.
Day 6: Lisbon — Seville
After a delicious breakfast, check out of your hotel and set off for Seville. Upon arrival, embark on a guided city tour to discover the city's treasures, including the awe-inspiring Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Next, explore the magnificent Alcázar of Seville, a stunning palace complex filled with intricate Moorish architecture and lush gardens. Then, stroll through the picturesque Santa Cruz district, with its narrow, winding streets and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 7: Seville — Córdoba — Granada
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and embark on a scenic drive to Córdoba, a city steeped in history and renowned for its breathtaking architecture. Begin your guided tour with the iconic Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba, a stunning masterpiece that blends Islamic and Christian influences. After the tour, you’ll continue your journey to Granada, a picturesque 2.5-hour drive away, where a whole new chapter of Spain’s rich heritage awaits. Day 8: Granada — Valencia
Today, after breakfast, check out from your hotel and dive into the rich history of Granada with a guided tour. It will take you to one of the most iconic landmarks in Spain—the Alhambra Complex. This UNESCO World Heritage Site will leave you breathless with its stunning Nasrid Palaces, intricate Moorish designs, and sweeping panoramic views of the city below. As you wander through its grand halls and courtyards, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a royal paradise, steeped in history and beauty.
Next, journey through the enchanting Generalife Gardens, where lush greenery, tranquil fountains, and beautifully landscaped terraces invite you to lose yourself in serenity. Day 9: Valencia — Barcelona
After breakfast, start your day with a guided tour of Valencia, beginning at the City of Arts and Sciences. This futuristic complex is a marvel of modern architecture with striking structures, an aquarium, and science museum.
Next, head to the Valencia Cathedral, an impressive blend of Romanesque, Moorish, and Gothic architecture. Inside, you’ll find the Holy Grail, said to be the actual cup used by Christ during the Last Supper. Wander through the Old Town afterward, where the narrow streets, bustling markets, and historical landmarks reveal the charm of Valencia’s past.
In the afternoon, visit Oceanogràfic, located in the Turia Gardens. This expansive oceanarium is divided into distinct marine habitats featuring diverse species like beluga whales, sharks, and sea lions.
You'll also have some free time at Valencia Beach, where you can relax along the golden sands or take a stroll by the Mediterranean Sea.
Proceed to Barcelona, where you'll check into your hotel and enjoy a wholesome dinner.
Day 10: Barcelona
After breakfast, check out the much-awaited city of Barcelona. As the vibrant capital of Catalonia in northeastern Spain, it seamlessly blends rich history, modern design, and a captivating cultural scene. Its iconic architecture, notably the mesmerizing works of Antoni Gaudí such as the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, defines the city's skyline.
En route, we embark on one of the most popular day trips from Barcelona—Montserrat, a unique mountain range offering views over Catalonia. Venture into the Catalan countryside to visit Montserrat on this full-day tour from Barcelona. See the Basilica and Monastery on Montserrat, a beautiful, multi-peak mountain with dramatic rock formations, with free time to continue exploring the museum, farmer's market, or views from the ridge of Cavall Bernat.
In the evening, return to Barcelona. Upon arrival, we take a Cable Car to Montjiic mountain. Enjoy the evening view of the city before retiring to the hotel to prepare for dinner.
Day 11: Barcelona
Post breakfast, proceed for a guided tour of Barcelona. Enjoy a guided walking tour of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, with a professional English-speaking guide to accompany you. Wander past important historic monuments such as the Saló del Tinell, the Capella de Santa Àgata and the Palau del Lloctinent. Visit the Olympic Village, Columbus monument and Montjuïc Mountain where you will be able to see the Olympic Stadium, see Plaza de Cataluna, lively Ramblas the most famous street in Barcelona.
Next, we visit Sagrada Família, a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor basilica and a one-of-a-kind temple, for its origins, foundation and purpose. Five generations now have watched the Temple progress in Barcelona. Today, more than 135 years after the laying of the cornerstone, construction continues the Basilica.
After lunch, experience the thrill of walking out onto the Camp Nou pitch. Explore the Leo Messi area and marvel at the European Cups and interact with Barça. Later in the afternoon, have some free time at the famous La Ramblas.
At the end of the day, you’ll return to the hotel and prepare for dinner.
Day 12: Barcelona
As your memorable holiday comes to an end, today is the day to fly back home. Say goodbye to the wonderful new friends you have made on the tour. Check out and depart for the Airport with pleasant memories of your European trip which you will cherish for a lifetime.
