DAY 1: Salt Lake City, Utah
From the airport, head to your hotel located in downtown Salt Lake City. After checking in, you are free to explore Salt Lake City on your own before meeting at the Lion House*, Brigham Young’s home, for dinner that evening. (Meals included: D).
DAY 2: Salt Lake City to Torrey via Sundance
Enjoy a morning tour of Salt Lake City, known as “The Crossroads of the West.” Then, enjoy a scenic drive to Sundance Resort, a mountain lodge owned by Robert Redford that harnesses a balance of art, nature, and community. Absorb the surrounding art pieces during lunch at the resort. Come evening, you and your group will have a fun and filling western dinner experience, complete with magnificent views of the setting sun.
Overnight at Capitol Reef Resort or similar in Torrey, Utah. (Meals included: B, L, D)
DAY 3: Torrey to Moab via Goblin Valley
Enjoy an energizing breakfast before visiting Capitol Reef National Park to see petroglyphs, beautiful rock formations, and deep canyons encased in pioneer history. After a picnic lunch under old growth cottonwood trees, take a short drive to Goblin Valley State Park for sights that many describe as “otherworldly” before heading to your hotel in Moab. After check-in, spend free time exploring the surroundings and grabbing dinner before joining the group for a private Stargazing Experience with local astronomers.

DAY 4: Moab, Utah
Following breakfast at the hotel, tour the highlights of Arches National Park. The unique geology of the area created the highest concentration of natural arches in the world with over 2,000 named arches within the park boundary. Return to Moab and enjoy free time to explore and grab some lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll take a Jet Boat Ride on the mighty Colorado River and soak in spectacular views of the surrounding red rock canyons. Dinner at the Sunset Grill presents diners with a million-dollar view.

DAY 5: Moab to Glenwood Springs, Colorado
After breakfast and check-out, take a scenic drive to Canyonlands National Park to visit the Island in the Sky. Take time to marvel at the mesmerizing landscape, featuring the Mesa Arch and Grandview Point, before heading to Dead Horse Point State Park for a picnic lunch paired with one of the most remarkable scenes in the southwest. In the afternoon, you’ll board the Rocky Mountaineer train for your 2-day luxury rail experience. Cross the Colorado-Utah border with stunning mountain views in the background before arriving in the resort town of Glenwood Springs. Dinner is included on the train.

DAY 6: Glenwood Springs to Denver, Colorado
Depart Glenwood Springs and continue your journey onboard the Rocky Mountaineer, where you will enjoy breakfast and lunch, and witness incredible sights best seen by train. Cross the Continental Divide and take in breathtaking views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River before arriving in the vibrant city of Denver. Check in to your hotel and seize the rest of the evening to explore Denver on your own, making a point to visit the LoDo district – packed with wonderful shops and restaurants where you can grab dinner – within walking distance from your hotel.

DAY 7: Depart from Denver
Rise and shine to have breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the Denver Airport for your departure home.
