The Experience
Day 1: Hello Hawaii!
Start off your Hawaii vacation in the morning by boarding your direct flight to the Big Island! At the airport, you’ll meet your Jaya Travel ambassador who’ll transfer you to the luxury hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight at Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection.
Day 2: The Big Island
Today, head to the airport and take a helicopter ride over Hawaii in an Executive-style Bell 407 Helicopter. The pilot will fly into valleys that showcase Hawaii’s untamed beauty before dropping you to the north of the island to meet a tour guide. You’ll hike for approximately 1.5 – 2 miles over uneven rocky terrain with an elevation gain of approximately 200 ft. You’ll also have the opportunity to cool off in a waterfall, where the temperature varies between 60°F to 70°F. Then, enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach while enjoying a scenic view. By midday, you’ll get back on the helicopter and return to Kona.
This evening, you’ll board a catamaran and set sail in time to watch the sunset over the water. After you’ve taken in the scenery, prepare for an adventure—night snorkeling with manta rays! You’ll need to wear a swimsuit, and a wetsuit top will be provided. At night, spotlights are used to attract mantas that feed off the plankton illuminated by the light. As intimidating as these otherworldly mantas look, they’re actually friendly and do not have stingers. After an hour-long swim, you will return to the Kailua pier.
Overnight at Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection.
Day 3: The Big Island
Today, on a full-day adventure, you’ll lift off from the Hilo Airport in a helicopter with no doors! Your pilot will head for an active volcano, Mount Kīlauea, that’s been continuously erupting for 30 years. The natives believe this is the home of Pele, the Goddess of fire, lighting, and volcanoes. This volcano tour will have you flying 500 ft above the flowing lava and open vents, which can reach temperatures of 2,000 degrees!
The pilot will also take you over Hilo’s lush rain forests, Mauna Loa’s vistas, and the plunging Rainbow Falls (Wai‘ānuenue). Then, you’ll return to Hilo after the exhilarating experience.
Please note, tour routes and sights visited may vary according to wind and weather conditions.
Overnight at Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection.
Day 4: The Big Island – Maui
In the morning, say goodbye to the Big Island and fly to Maui! You’ll transfer to Hotel Wailea, an adults-only intimate enclave set within the most exclusive resort in Hawaii. The rest of the day is at your leisure to enjoy, and we recommend exploring the luxury hotel.
Overnight at Hotel Wailea.
Day 5: Maui – Hana
Early this morning, you’ll be picked up for an island tour adventure along the Road to Hana and looping around the entire mountain! First, if hungry, the tour will stop to eat breakfast at a local restaurant.
Along the Road to Hana, your guide will make numerous stops, providing ample time to explore. Highlights of the Ke’anae Peninsula include the Hanawi Waterfall and black sand beach at Wai’anapanapa. Enjoy freshly baked banana bread while taking in the remote coastline views, then stop for lunch in the open-air dining room at Travaasa Hana Hotel. There is also an opportunity for swimming and walking by the various loop trails.
Overnight at Hotel Wailea.
Day 6: Maui Luau
The morning is at your leisure to relax at the luxury resort or head to the beach for some fun by the sea. This evening, your driver will pick you up and bring you to the West Side of Maui for an authentic Hawaiian luau. A luau is a traditional Hawaiian party usually accompanied by vibrant entertainment and delicious, traditional food such as poi, kalua pig, poke, lomi salmon, opihi, haupia, and beer. Of course, the Maui luau wouldn’t be complete without traditional Hawaiian music and hula dancing!
You’ll be greeted with a fresh flower lei and shown to your own private table. Dinner will be a 4-course meal inspired by the culture and traditions of Polynesia. Each course represents a modern twist on the various traditional island cuisines. For many visitors, the highlight of a Maui luau is the amazing Samoan fire knife dance. Brave performers treat you to death-defying feats of astonishing dexterity as they pass the flaming knife through their legs and behind their backs!
Overnight at Hotel Wailea.
Day 7: Maui – Lanai
This morning, check out of your hotel and board the boat for a Lanai sailing tour. Your day will include fishing, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, and sipping champagne! This four-hour jaunt is the perfect transfer to the island of Lanai, a place of total peace, seclusion, and wonderful weather.
Once you arrive at your luxury hotel, the rest of the day is yours to relax in paradise. Overnight at Manele Bay, the Four Seasons Lana’i.
Day 8: Lanai
Embark on a guided island tour of Lanai to visits places that look like the surface of Mars. Here, discover a completely secluded beach where you will enjoy a gourmet picnic. This evening, feast on sushi at the Nobu restaurant. The fish is so fresh, they’ll tell you it was caught that day outside your window.
Overnight at Manele Bay, the Four Seasons Lana’i.
Day 9: Lanai
On your last day, enjoy spa treatments, an exclusive sushi-making class at Nobu Restaurant, and snorkeling in a pristine coral reef right at the resort’s edge.
Overnight at Manele Bay, the Four Seasons Lana’i.
Day 10: Farewell Hawaii
After checking out from the hotel, transfer to the airport for your onward journey. On the flight home you’ll be thinking about your next luxury Hawaii tour!
